Overview of the LMS365 solution
LMS365 is a collection of tools which will enable course admins to create new course and training plans in SharePoint Online, Teams, and for the LMS365 mobile app.
For learners, LMS365 offers training structured in course catalogs, courses, and training plans.
When working with LMS365, you will get familiar with the following structure and elements of the system.
Course Catalog
The Course Catalog is the main part of the LMS365 App. A course catalog is where your courses and training plans are featured. Here, learners can get an overview of the selection of courses. And from the Course Catalog, you create new courses and training plans. You can have several course catalogs in your LMS365 solution offering courses and training plans of different characters or to different audiences - for example one catalog for an internal and another for an external audience.

LMS365 SCORM & AICC Player
The SCORM & AICC player for LMS365 can be automatically included in newly created course sites.
SCORM content is a way to create pieces of online learning management material that can be shared and combined with other materials.
LMS365 Learning Module Builder
The LMS365 Learning Module Builder is designed for organizing Documents, Videos, SCORM or AICC packages etc. into sequenced learning steps.
Learners move to the next step only after they have completed the previous, ensuring progress and making it possible to see where they are in the learning process. There is no better way to expose learners to new concepts in the most efficient order―and to ensure learners are not confused or lost along the way.
LMS365 Quiz Builder
The LMS365 Quiz Builder is designed for the creation of quizzes that can be used as intermediate or final tests in the learning process.
A quiz is a type of examination consisting of several question types such as Multiple Choice, Multiple Answer, True or False, Ordering or Matching Answers, Free Text Answers, Fill Gap, Hot Spot, or Short Answer.
The interactivity and complexity that quizzes provide get learners more interested and involved in the learning process.
Home page
Every Course Catalog includes a home page. This page is a standard SharePoint page that you can employ to highlight new training plus news and stories relevant for the training in your organization.
My Training Dashboard
The Training Dashboard provides learners with an overview of training activities and progress. From here, the learner can get a personal view of the current training status, assigned training, certificates and competencies, transcript, Continuing Education Units (CEUs), and the Leaderboard.
Also, learners can activate LMS365 notifications in Microsoft Teams from the dashboard.
From the Training Dashboard, line managers have access to a Line Manager Dashboard from where they can observe and manage the training activity of their subordinates.
Administrators can control the left navigation of the dashboard to decide which information learners will have available from the dashboard.
Courses
Courses is where the actual learning content lives and is structures into a course.
LMS365 includes three types of courses:
- e-Learning
e-Learning consist of on-demand content. It does not include live-sessions and instructors.
- Classroom and blended training
This course type allows you to offer courses that includes, or solely consist of, sessions. These sessions can be held online or in a physical room (or both at the same time). The course can be a combination of sessions and course materials like text, video, and slides.
- Webinars
As Classroom and blended training, webinars allow you to offer courses that includes sessions alone, or sessions together with course materials. However, sessions in the Webinar course type are held online.
Sessions
Sessions are events in a course that take place in a certain time and space (physical, online, or both). They have an instructor. As a course admin, you can either require learners to attend all sessions of a course or allow them to sign up for a single session of a course.

Learning modules
In learning modules, you can make content available that the learner will have to go through as part of a course. This content can be structured in different modules of the course, or just in one. The content can be presented, for example, in a YouTube video, in documents, or a Sway.
You can require learners to sign off that they have completed the module and track this for the purpose of compliance.

Course Home Page
Every course has a dedicated home page. On the Course Home Page learners gets an overview of the current course and can see course information such as course description, learning modules, and course sessions.

Training plan
You might want learners to complete several courses to gain a certificate or a certain competence. When you have created a number of courses, you can combine them into a training plan. In this way you can create a structured learning experience for learners consisting of several courses.
Training Plan Home Page
Like Coursers, Training Plans has a dedicated home page that provides an overview of the training plan with training plan information and an overview of courses in the training plan.
