LTI and the use of external apps in LMS365
LTI is a standard for education technology, developed by IMS Global Learning Consortium, which enables learning tools and courseware from different vendors to be integrated into a learning platform.
LMS365 complies with LTI 1.0/1.1. This means LMS365 enables you to integrate LTI-compliant learning tools and content into courses built in LMS365. In this way, learners can interact seamlessly with various LTI-compliant materials, such as audio and video, and interactive learning exercises provided by third parties and hosted outside of LMS365. Learners only need to log in to LMS365 - no need to log in to the connecting site.

After June 30, 2021, IMS Global Learning Consortium will no longer certify legacy versions of LTI and will no longer support legacy LTI implementations. All support for LTI versions 1.0, 1.1, 1.1.1, 1.1.2, 1.2, and 2.0 will end on June 30, 2022. All institutions and suppliers should adopt the LTI 1.3 and LTI Advantage for teaching and learning integration to receive its many benefits. |
